There is no source for acupuncture supplies in Sikkim.  Biris has indicated to the students that HAP would try to keep them supplied with needles. The important supply of needles, while a challenge, offers an opportunity for establishment of a cooperative involving the sale of Sikkim artisanal crafts on Etsy.com. The proceeds from the sale of crafts (minus applicable Etsy fees) such as woven materials, paper products, and of course, moxa wool, solely produced in Sikkim, will be distributed between artisans in the villages and the HAP / SSHA  projects.
